Motorola files a lawsuit against Apple in the ITC - iTechwit
Motorola, a Google acquired company, has today filed a lawsuit against Apple Inc. in the International Trade Commission (ITC), claiming the Cupertino based technology giant Apple are infringing upon seven of its patents in their products. The patents that were mentioned are closely related to features such as email notifications, reminders and phone/video players.
In the meantime, Motorola has made many attempts to sue Apple with majority of the events at Apple’s favor, but this time is different because Motorola is now a part of Google Inc., which signifies that Google will have to approve the move before Motorola could file the lawsuit against Apple. And as we know, Apple and Google are two tech giants with long time rivalry.
According to a statement on GSMArena, the reporter wrote this line “this goes directly against Google’s previous stance of not using patents offensively” and we at ITW totally agree with his claim.
And as you know, Google’s number reason for acquiring Motorola Mobility is because of patents. And this means the fight between the two companies with look tough because Google will try as much as possible to recover the patents. However, it will be nice seeing Google striking the first blow though

Lets see who wins – Motorola or Apple in the court. I think if Motorola has copyright they will sure win

2012 has been a busy year both for patent hunters and those who ‘steal’ them. I however think technology is too wide and dynamic for one to claim a piece of it. What Motorola did yesterday, Apple or Nokia or Samsung can make it better tomorrow. This patent brawl thing will just slow down better cheaper things for the consumers.
